Kids TV update 1.4 is approved to marketplace on May 22.
This update fixed the hanging issue when the push notification channel failed to open. You can look at the status of the Push Notification channel in the settings page.
There are several reasons why the channel would fail like the max limit of 15 tiles in the start screen that can use push notifications. Some time it can fail based on the network availability and the status of the Push Notification Service.
Please install the update 1.4 as soon as possible to fix this issue. Sorry for the inconvinience.
